Children’s Sunday School - Fall 2007

Children’s Sunday School will kick-off on September 9 at 9:45 a.m.  As always, we have a great team of teachers ready to welcome your children.  We will continue to use the Exploring Faith curriculum.  Exploring Faith takes your children through the entire Bible over the period of four years with lessons tailored specifically to their developmental level.  The kids will explore some of the most important lessons there are to learn on Sunday mornings.  We hope your children can join us.

Please register your children for Sunday School online now or in Wesley Hall on September 2. Advance registration helps us plan appropriately for the fall. However, if you have not registered your child in advance they are still welcome any Sunday morning.  Teachers will have registration forms in the classroom for you to complete.

Children’s Sunday School classes are located as follows:

The Child and Youth Protection Policy was revised and the new version approved in May of this year.  Several of the changes are important for parents to know. The full policy is available for you to read on the church website. A couple of important requirements you need to remember:

·           Two adults are required in every classroom.  While this requirement is not new it will be strictly followed this year.  Last year classes sometimes ran with only one adult present.  This is not a good practice for a number of reasons - the biggest one being the safety of your children.

·           Parents need to drop off and pick up children at their Sunday School classroom.  Should you want a youth sibling (7th – 12th grade) to drop off or pick up another of your children please provide the teacher with a note to that effect.

We are looking forward to a great year!
