Children's Worship
Aldersgate offers a Worship program for children ages 3 years old through 2nd grade during the 11:15 Sunday services. At Children’s Worship, children experience worship in a way that is meaningful to them. They will participate in some of the same activities that are going on in the adult service but the activities will be tailored for their developmental level. Our goal is to provide a great worship experience for your child that he or she will continue as they grow.
This fall, we are focusing our energies on Children’s Worship at the 11:15 a.m. service. At this time, we will not continue with Children’s Worship during the 8:30 a.m. service.
If your children have not participated in Children’s Worship before here is how it works. Children go into the Sanctuary with their parents for about the first 20 minutes of the service. They will hear the children’s message and then have the option to stay with their parents or join the leaders in the Narthex to go to Children’s Worship. Children’s Worship will be held in Room 119 this year (not too far from the nursery) and parents should pick their kids up there after the service.
