Programs for Tweens (4^th, 5^th, & 6^th Graders)

All For One - 5 p.m. Sundays

All 4^th, 5^th and 6^th graders are invited to join All For One (AFO).  We have a terrific AFO year planned for you.  It’s filled with great mission projects, fun field trips and a lot of hot topics you will want to explore and learn more about.  We meet Sunday evenings in Wesley Hall 

5 p.m. - 6 p.m. followed by a family-style dinner. (The dinner will be in Founders Hall from 6 - 6:15. Volunteer cooks are needed!)

We look forward to seeing you Sunday evenings beginning with our fall kickoff outside on the side yard at Aldersgate on September 11 at 5 p.m.!

Acolyte Team

All 4^th, 5^th and 6^th graders are invited to acolyte during our 8:30 and 11:15 worship services. Being an acolyte is a great experience.  You will bring the Light of Christ into the service and serve as the minister’s right hand.  We have a lot of kids who participate in the program so a commitment to be an acolyte can easily be fit into your family’s schedule. Training is provided in the fall. If your child would like to attend the acolyte training or you have any questions please contact Heather Evans. 

Acolyte training will be offered on October 9 after the 11:15 a.m. service and on October 12 at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary. Acolyte dedication and recognition will be during the 8:30 and 11:15 worship services on October 16, 2011.

Confirmation (6^th Grade and up)

Confirmation begins on September 11, 2011.  This year-long study introduces young teens to the dynamics of the Christian faith.  All rising 6th graders and older youth who have not completed this course are invited.  Confirmation will start with orientation for students and parents on September 11 at 9:45 a.m.
