Programs for Tweens (4th, 5th, & 6th Graders)
All For One
All 4th, 5th and 6th graders are invited to the All For One (AFO) kick-off on October 7 – it’s our not to be missed Fourth Annual AFO cook-out! We hope you can join us to roast hot dogs, build awesome s’mores and share each other’s company. We have a terrific AFO year planned for you. It’s filled with great mission projects, fun field trips and a lot of hot topics you will want to explore and learn more about. We meet Sunday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 102. Acolyte Team
Don’t miss out on the acolyte training for 4th, 5th and 6th graders this fall. There are two training sessions scheduled – both just before our AFO program on Sunday evenings. We will meet in the Sanctuary on October 7 at 5:00 p.m. and again a week later on October 14 at 5:30 p.m. Being an acolyte is a great experience. You will bring the Light of Christ into the service and serve as the minister’s right hand. We have a lot of kids who participate in the program so a commitment to be an acolyte may only involve acolyting 2 or 3 Sundays a year. The training will last about an hour. We look forward to seeing you there!
Confirmation (6th Grade and up)
Confirmation classes begin September 9th. This year-long study introduces young teens to the dynamics of the Christian faith. All rising 6th graders and older youth who have not completed this course are invited. Confirmation will start with orientation on September 9 at 9:45am in Founders Hall.
