Outreach - Serving the Local Community

Outreach physically touches our community in Christ's name so others experience the love and grace of God at work in their lives. We coordinate with and work through with many local organizations. Outreach also donates money to groups serving the local community, often paralleling where our volunteers give of their time. Please look into your heart and ask God to show you where your talents and skills would be best used to help:

R.O.C.K. - the Route One Community Kitchen provides meals for the hungry five days per week throughout the year. Aldersgate's day is Friday. Volunteers purchase food, prepare the meal Friday mornings and to deliver and serve lunch. To volunteer, please call Sherry Edelkamp.

Phoenix Rising - On the second Friday of each month, Aldersgate delivers sack meals to the people sheltered in local motels. Volunteers are needed for shopping, sandwich preparation, delivery, and special projects. To volunteer, email Leah Gunter.
