Hi, My name is Morgan Ward and I'm the full time Youth Director for Aldersgate UMC. Thank you for checking out our youth pages. Here is a little background about me that I hope helps you to get to know me.
I'm in my sixth year of Youth Ministry and graduated from Virginia Wesleyan in 2002 with a BA in Religious Studies. Before coming to Aldersgate, I worked part time at a church in the Virginia Beach area as a part time Youth Director. Prior to that I was a full time volunteer working with the youth at the church where I grew up. I left my home in Virginia Beach, Virginia to follow God’s call to Aldersgate. I have a heart for young people and I yearn to provide them with spiritual guidance and a safe place to worship God.
My family includes my mom, dad, and sister in Virginia Beach and my brother who lives in DC as well as my two Godchildren, Meighan is 7 and living in Georgia, and Jude, 5 months who is also in Virginia Beach. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing, hanging out with friends, and catching up with family.
