Walk for the Homeless on October 26
to Benefit United Community Ministries (UCM)
Children and Youth please join us for Aldersgate’s Walk for the Homeless to benefit United Community Ministries. Mark your calendar for October 26 and Be Part of It!
At 10:00 a.m. on Sunday morning October 26 (during Sunday School) all participants will “Walk for the Homeless” around the church grounds (or inside if there is inclement weather) for about 15 minutes. Then the kids will return to their classroom to learn what the homeless in our country face and how we can help.
Parents should complete a registration form and pay a $15 registration fee for each child who will participate. All participants will receive a free t-shirt. All funds raised will go to UCM. Please complete a registration form at your child’s Sunday School classroom this Sunday, October 12 or next Sunday, October 19 and submit the registration form and fee (checks made payable to Help the Homeless) to the teacher.
