How do you become a church member?
Anyone who has been baptized in a Christian church can join Aldersgate by one of these methods:
1. Confession of Faith –
This is the initial entrance into membership of the church. One confesses faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
2. Reaffirmation of Faith –
This is one’s renewing of the initial Confession of Faith, after a period of inactivity or not being on a church membership roll.
3. Transfer of Membership –
May be from another
Here’s what your commitment means to Aldersgate and to you.
The Aldersgate Family is committed to invite people to Christ, shape believers, and glorify God in the process. Every member recommits annually to be actively involved in the life of the church with their:
• Prayers for the church and its ministries
• Presence at worship services, Bible study and ministry activities
• Gifts of financial support as a faith investment in God’s work
• Service to His kingdom by volunteering to serve in one or more ministry areas
To help you get started, you are invited to have breakfast with the pastor so you can get to know more about Aldersgate United Methodist Church. These breakfasts are generally at 9:45 a.m. on the last Sunday of the month (September - May). Please contact the church office if you want to attend and let us know if you will need childcare.

We look forward to having you join Aldersgate Church. Please fill out the membership forms and return them to the church office. Our pastors will be happy to receive you into membership on any of our "membership weekends" (second weekend of most months) or by other arrangement made through the office.
