Community Blood Drive for Taylor McLeod

Tough Like Taylor!

The McLeod family lives in our community and their children attend Waynewood elementary school. Days before Christmas this past year they received devastating news that their 8-year-old daughter, Taylor, had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Their lives were quickly turned upside down as their main focus became a battle against cancer. The community has lifted them up in prayers and acts of service as Taylor courageously shows her strength. During her stays at Children's National in Washington DC, she has received lifesaving blood transfusions. To continue to show support for Taylor and her family, we will be hosting a mobile blood drive that will directly benefit Children's National hospital.

If you feel called, please join us in the Aldersgate UMC parking lot on Thursday, May 14th from 9am-2pm to donate blood and show your support for Taylor and her family.
