Cheer Team Volunteer Training

CHEER Team is one of the longest standing ministries at Aldersgate. Teams of 2 volunteers visit church members who are shut-in at home, in a nursing home, or a hospital patient. Each team makes visits about every 6-8 weeks, so it is not a huge time commitment. Volunteers take flowers, a card, a worship bulletin, and communion elements to their assigned person. The personal rewards for participating in this ministry are immeasurable.
