UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW)
We are faith, hope, and love in action.
Faith: Women who participate in monthly circle meetings and support mission projects to grow spiritually and become more deeply rooted in Christ by putting faith into action.
Hope: Our national mission institutions empower women, care for children, educate and equip youth, care for the neglected, advocate for social justice issues, create economic opportunities and strengthen neighborhoods.
Love: Our members give out of their love for the world and provide financial support for local and national mission institutions, supporting 121 programs taking place in 110 countries.
Action: UMW members’ voices are heard around the world as they call for justice on issues such as immigration, human trafficking, domestic violence, health care, and the environment.

United Methodist Women (UMW) is collecting new and old greeting cards (all kinds) and 2021 calendars for Guest House (formerly incarcerated women) and for Phoenix Rising (a meal program). UMW cuts off the personal messages on old greeting cards and uses the rest of the card to write meal blessings on
them, and puts the cards and calendars in the meal sacks. If you have any greeting cards or 2021 calendars to donate, please drop them off at the purple UMW collection bin located outside door #3.
