Nursery Childcare Workers

Aldersgate UMC is seeking childcare workers for the nursery. The nursery provides age-appropriate care for children from birth to 3-years-old on Sunday mornings during worship and other weekly activities. Persons filling this position will work 1-3 hours a week at $12.50/hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with experience working with children.

Traditional Music Director

Aldersgate UMC is seeking a Director of Traditional Music to lead our adult choir (Wesley Choir) and hand bell choir (Wesley Ringers). This part-time, in-person role includes leading rehearsals and music for Sunday worship and special services, with rehearsals on Wednesday and Monday evenings (Sept–May). The ideal candidate will have choral conducting experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit grounded in Christian faith. A bachelor's degree in music is preferred.​ This position reports to the Lead Pastor.

Some administrative work may be done remotely.

Facilities Manager

Aldersgate UMC is seeking a hands-on, organized Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our church buildings and grounds. This role includes performing basic repairs, coordinating contractors and volunteers, and ensuring our facilities are clean, safe, and welcoming for worship, school, and community use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections

  • Manage vendor contracts and supervise cleaning staff

  • Coordinate with staff on facility needs and special events

  • Develop and follow maintenance schedules and budget plans

  • Support long-term property planning with church leadership
