70 Years of Inspiring Faith

Aldersgate UMC recently celebrated our 70th Anniversary.
We started with thirty-five worshippers in a school cafeteria to present day with a campus built by generations of members' hands and gifts. Aldersgate carries seventy years of faith into its next chapter under the leadership of Rev. William H. John Jr.

For seventy years, Aldersgate has stood as a strong and steadfast steeple on the corner — a familiar beacon of faith, hope, and community. From time to time, you may even catch a glimpse of eagles perched high above our steeple: strong, watchful, and always looking toward the horizon — a fitting symbol of who we are.

Worship Service Times

Celebration of Communion (Eucharist, Lord’s Supper) joyfully, for as our founder John Wesley said, in some mysterious way Jesus really is present to us in this meal and, through it, he changes our hearts one bite and sip at a time. All are welcome to join us in Communion.

Children to be treated as if they were first in God’s heart because Jesus said they are. They are welcome in worship with you or can stay in the nursery during worship.
