VOLUNTEERS WANTED
CHEER Team is one of the longest standing ministries at Aldersgate. Teams of 2 volunteers visit church members who are shut-in at home or in a nursing home. Each team makes visits about every 6-8 weeks, so it is not a huge time commitment. Volunteers take flowers, a card, a worship bulletin, and communion elements to their assigned person. The personal rewards for participating in this ministry are immeasurable.
Training for new volunteers will be held on Sunday, September 21st, at 12:00pm in the church library (room 132). For more information, please contact Judy Jurkowski (jjurkowski@aldersgate.net).
