Mondloch House.png

Our missional focus for November is the Be the Good Project. The Be the Good Project is a local non-profit organization whose mission is to provide safe and simple ways for volunteers to help feed our neighbors who are experiencing hunger and food insecurity.

We will put together Boost Bags on Sunday, November 23rd, as a

part of our Deck the Halls Christmas decorating event.

The shopping list of items can be found below as well as by Door 3 at the church. Please note that the items on this shopping list are specific items that have been requested. No substitutions, please.

Be the Good Boost Bags are distributed through local schools

and non-profits that serve families who are experiencing

hunger and food insecurity across Northern Virginia.

How To Volunteer:

  1. Purchase an entire content of a Boost Bag.

  2. Purchase items to go towards a Boost Bag (individually listed)

  3. Make a contribution and we will purchase the contents needed to make Boost Bags using this contribution. (Check can be made to Aldersgate UMC, memo: Be The Good.)

Couple of Things to Note:

We will need all items purchased (full bag or individual items)

brought to the church by Wednesday, November 19th.

Please place food donations in the bin at Door 3.

Church Office open Monday - Thursday, 10am-4pm
