Hypothermia Shelter

In partnership with Ventures in Community and New Hope Housing, Rising Hope United Methodist Church provides overnight emergency shelter from December through March for individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers from community churches and local civic groups provide a hot home cooked dinner and breakfast bags.

This year, Aldersgate UMC will provide volunteers to prepare and serve dinners every Tuesday evening during the months of December and January. We prepare a balanced meal for 24 guests. If you would like more information or would like to volunteer, please contact Karen Latta (klatta@fourthwave.com).
