Hypothermia Shelter

In partnership with Ventures in Community and New Hope Housing, Rising Hope United Methodist Church provides overnight emergency shelter from December through March for individuals experiencing homelessness. Volunteers from community churches and local civic groups provide a hot home cooked dinner and breakfast bags. Aldersgate UMC is proud to support this mission again this year!

We will collect donations of winter clothing and/or blankets through the month of March. Donations may be new or used and in good condition. The most needed items are socks, gloves, hats, and coats. Donations may be dropped off at the church anytime at Door #3.
