Support the Mission and the Fun! MISSION INFORMATION < Previous Back to Local Missions Next > Camp Highroad At Aldersgate, we're grateful to partner with ministries that help us grow in faith, build community, and experience God's creation. Camp Highroad happens to be one of those special places. It is home to retreats, summer camps, and outdoor ministry opportunities offering meaningful experiences for children, youth, adults, and families. Many of our Aldersgate Youth have enjoyed retreats and events at Camp Highroad, and several of our Girl Scout troops that meet here at Aldersgate have also created lasting memories there through camping and outdoor adventures. We encourage you to explore all that Camp Highroad has to offer and consider making it part of your family's faith journey! This month we are excited to accept donations for Camp Highroad as part of our Monthly Mission for August. https://video.wixstatic.com/video/03f741_86a48c5f68c5463cb40026f14a2fb912/1080p/mp4/file.mp4 Camp Highroad Click here to visit the Camp Highroad website and click here to make a donation. EVENTS FOR CHILDREN & FAMILIES < Previous Event Back to Children's Ministries Page Next Event > Summer Children's Church CHILDREN'S MINISTRY Sundays | 9:45am-10:30am 1301 Collingwood Rd. Alexandria, VA 22308 Summer Children's Church has been such a wonderful time! We are practicing the art of worship –– prayer, scripture, message, and offering –– starting after the Children's Message in "big" church. We'll all head up to the stained-glass room to level-up our worship skills and then (weather permitting) transition out to the playground to enjoy God's great creation. Learning how to be in worship is truly a spiritual practice; it takes repetition to learn the rhythm. We pray that this summer our kids build this skill and grow more equipped to be in worship with the whole church! Meet us at Door 1, grab a name tag, and join the fun! < Previous Event Next Event >
